Job Title: Compliance Engineer 

Location: Head Office (Luton)

Start Date: Immediate

Reports to: Product Director

Role Overview:

  • The primary role is to work closely with and report directly to the Product Director to ensure the products meet the newly introduce UKCA compliance - coaching and mentoring will be provided if required
  • The role will require interaction with worldwide suppliers, outside regulatory agencies and other accrediting bodies
  • Other responsibilities of the role will include producing and maintaining technical files, certificates and supporting documents in line with the relevant directives (UKCA, LVD, EMC, RoHS, and REACH etc.)
  • This position also offers progression within the Company and is an ideal steppingstone for someone who is eager to start or progress their career into Product Management

Ideal requirements for the role:

  • Qualified to HNC / HND or Degree Level in an electrical engineering discipline
  • Have good attention to detail
  • Technically adept
  • Resourceful and flexible
  • Have a passion for continuous learning
  • An active team player with the ability to work independently
  • Ideally have some experience in the BS, EN, ISO or IEC standards
